AnalogX DXMan is a nice freeware application developed by AnalogX, a one-man software development company that releases compact and useful utilities. One good example is DXMan, a nifty little application that packs a lot of power in its very tiny package. DXMan is intended for DirectX Audio users (which basically includes all Windows users) who want to know where and what all their audio plug-ins are, to know which are worth keeping and which are no longer needed.
DXMan shows you a list of all the plug-ins installed in your computer, even those you thought you had already uninstalled a while ago. It also lets you select the plug-in configuration program just by clicking on the configuration button attached to each plug-in.
Not only you can configure the plug-ins you have, but you can also remove old and obsolete plug-ins. It is as simple as selecting the plug-in you want to get rid of and click “remove”. This will allow you to keep complete control on your audio plug-ins.
All in all, a free, useful, and very compact application.
